I’m as close to being a native Nevadan as you can get without being born here. My family moved back
to the Reno/Sparks area when I was two. I went to Jessie Beck, Swope Middle School, Reno High, and UNR. I ran away from the area for a few years in the 90’s to become a commercial diver. After I finished with my exploration of the deep blue sea I returned to the area and started working at the National EKG network at Sparks Family Hospital. I became a member of the local community theater scene and did plays with both Gothic North and Reno Little Theaters. In 2000 I moved to “The Evil Empire of the South” better known as Las Vegas and took my Real Estate exams.
In Vegas I worked for several firms. The first was Gundaker/Wardley GMAC. It became Caldwell Banker Wardley. I was recruited away from them to join a company that was in essence a Mega Team. We didn’t know it at the time but that is what we were forming. Together we did, on average, 250 transactions a year. I stayed with them for about 7 years. I left when it became painfully clear that our business model couldn’t survive in the shifting market. From there I tried two other companies and didn’t find a fit. In 2008 I married Diana. She was a former client and I am so tickled that she entered my life. We flew to her home town in Romania to perform the ceremony. When we got back from the Honeymoon we realized that our son Christopher was on the way and we wanted to get back to the Reno/Sparks area where all my family was available to help out. Extra hands are a good thing.
In Reno we wanted to make sure that we picked the best company to work with. I called a title rep and asked which three companies were the strongest in town and interviewed with each of them. Keller Williams, Group One was amazing. After our interviews neither Diana, who was a new licensee, nor I had any doubts as to where we wanted to be. In Keller Williams we have found a family that shares our ideals of how we want to live and grow.
Now that I am the Team Leader for our Sparks Market Center I can share the experience that I have gained over the past years. Every day I look forward to the challenges that await us in this dynamic shifting market.
